Discount rims

Many people today are totally unaware that you can buy discount rims over the internet. The truth is that you will often get a much better deal than if you just drive on down to your local tire and wheel store.

They usually have a much bigger selection too. I know guys who have paid almost half of what they would have paid had they tried to just buy the rims and wheels at a brick and mortar site. But there's a few things you have to watch out for. 

Most online companies offer better deals if you buy the whole package, meaning you buy the rims and tires all at once. You get a better discount that way. So if you're gonna get new rims, wait until you need tires too and do it all at once. 

Another thing is that you have to watch out for their financing deals. Some of them are OK, but a lot have some real "fine" print in there if you know what I mean. Usually you're much better off just putting them on your own credit card, especially if you have good credit. I mean you want discount rims but not if the financing is gonna end up making them more expensive in the long run.

Always do a search online concerning the companies you're looking at buying discount rims from too. One trick is to put the name of the company in quotes like this "harrys wheels" or whatever, and then do your search on google or something. You'll get back much more refined info and you should be able to see if someone has posted up complaints about them somewhere.

Personally, I don't like the spinners out today nor the high profile wheels or rims. They look like there's about 1 inch of tire and the rest is all rim! I go for the more sporty muscle car like rims myself. But hey, to each his own.

So remember to shop around online a lot and compare them to your local guys. Usually you can just put the wheels on yourself but if not, it won't cost much. Just call and get a quote ahead of time to find out so you can get an accurate comparison between these companies online offering discount rims.
